Terms & Conditions

A booking is confirmed when payment is authorised and you receive written confirmation. You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details you give us; we are not liable for a missed experience that follows from a mistyped email address or phone number.

Each experience carries its own cancellation window, stated on the relevant experience page, and that window forms part of these terms. Our full approach is set out in the Cancellation Policy and the Refunds & Returns policy, both of which are incorporated here by reference.

Requests to change the date or party size of a confirmed booking are accommodated where capacity allows and where the request is made outside the cancellation window. A change that reduces party size inside the window is treated as a partial cancellation.

Several of our experiences carry inherent risk and have minimum ages, health requirements, or alcohol restrictions, all stated at the point of booking. You must disclose any condition that would make participation unsafe.

We may refuse participation, without refund, where somebody is intoxicated, has misrepresented a material health condition, or behaves in a way that endangers themselves, other guests, or our staff. This is the one place we are inflexible.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including travel and accommodation not booked through us. If you are travelling any distance for an experience that weather can cancel, insure the trip.

We occasionally photograph experiences for our own promotional use. Tell your guide on the day if you would rather not appear and we will keep you out of frame.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.
