Privacy Policy

To take a booking we need your name, an email address, a phone number for the day, the size of your party, and a payment method. For a few experiences we also ask about age, mobility, or a health condition that would make the activity unsafe.

We do not store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor and we retain only the last four digits and the card type, which is what we need to match a refund to a payment.

Contact details exist so a guide can reach you if a departure moves or the water comes up overnight. Party and health details exist so we bring the right equipment and do not put somebody in an unsafe position. Payment details exist to take payment and to refund it.

We send booking confirmations and pre-departure instructions because you have booked something. We send marketing email only if you asked for it, and every one of those carries a working unsubscribe link.

Our booking system, our payment processor, and our email provider process your data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Where an experience needs a permit, we pass the participant names required by the issuing authority and nothing further.

We do not sell customer data, we do not rent mailing lists, and we do not share your details with other operators.

Booking records are kept for seven years, because tax and insurance require it. Health disclosures are deleted twelve months after the experience. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address at the foot of this page and we will respond within thirty days. Where we cannot delete something — a booking record inside the seven-year window, for instance — we will tell you why.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The booking flow sets a small number of functional cookies to remember your basket between pages; without them checkout cannot work.
